For years Steve Senes plays in several bands, the flat stages. As a guitarist he made an important contribution to the music that was played, be it rock, metal or country was. Senes knows it all and decided to merge his experience on his own album, calledSenes. Guitar Player Magazine named according to the superstar of 2009, his solo album The Evolution of Theory, released late last year. The reason for placing the foreign capitals in the album name not be traced, but this is fortunately not the music. It’s an album determined to become self-confidence. Senes begins with the rock song “The Swami” and the subsequent “Grease Ball”, the electric guitar sound to life. The crying is interspersed with long strokes with different guitar riffs and Senes quickly moves his hand over the neck of his guitar. Besides the rock is also country, jazz and classical music can be heard on the album. The first quiet moment “Ruth” feels like a cool breeze on a warm summer evening. Other songs are quieter ‘Mare Tranquillitatis’ and The ‘Afterglow’, the last two of the album, in which soul and Latin influences emerge. Another song on the album that has to be mentioned is Cop Show. Besides the fact that it begins with sirens, gives more diversity to the album.Senes throws his fast guitar riffs and a touch of jazz because through them, supplemented by various wind instruments. The eVolution of Theory-Senes has put down a very diverse album that highlighted his qualities, it is therefore easy to see why he nominated superstar of 2009. Rating - 4.5/5 Stars
