A Taste Of Logic
Review from Digital Steel

And yes again we have a winner! This month’s price for the best instrumental album goes to Steve Senes, who was in 2009 the Guitar Player Magazine’s Superstar. Having played with various bands over the years, Steve Senes has amassed quiet a large variety of styles ranging from Rock, Metal, Country to Funk, R&B and Soul. This diversity is especially evident on this, Steve’s first solo instrumental CD, De-Evolution Of Theory. This instrumental foray takes you on a wild ride through many styles and vibes of music, through the aforementioned genres, also including hints of Latin, Jazz, even a Classical moment or two. If you put Joe Satriani, Eddie Vanhalen, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt and Carlos Santana in a blender, then Steve Senes will come out of it. This is an instrumental musical journey which will never lose your attention. Listen to songs like The Swami, Ruth, Cop Show or Colossus and you will know what I mean. Again a good produced instrumental album, whit lots of variety on it. Listen to some songs on Steve Senes myspace page, which is : http://www.myspace.com/9yu . This album is undoubted a must have for all you guitar players out there!
